Stop in for a cup of coffee

I knew something was up but not the details, hope it works out must be frustrating.

Weather is supposed to great all week. Got most of my little BS projects out of the way this weekend. Should have some time to slap the 318 back together.. it's all cleaned and painted, new gaskets, oil pump, and timing chain ready to go.
All of this is dun on my stuff but I can't pay for the shop time :banghead:
Bank had $30 k ready to put in my account then a mucked up BS thing my brother and sister inlaw did put a stop to it and I lost a damn year :banghead:

I got a 88 w150 and cannot find any diagram of two vacuum lines that come fron the transfer case shifter, I think it is vac and a vent but cannot seem to make it work right, any chance you know what they are?

Ray, I think My 90 Comanche has that set up. Those vacuum hoses went to a diaphram on the front axle to shift it into 4X4. They are a know problem, and many people, including me changed to a manual push pull cable mounted under the dash to insure positive axle engagement.

No all the vac is hooked up on the axel. I have these two lines hanging and one has the remains of a plastic? I think it was a vent fitting, but not sure. I did put manifold vac to the one line and the panel lit up and it seemed like it was working but now it is not. I am just wondering if it goes to one of the plastic lines coming out of the firewall, they were all cut or broken when I got it, I just cannot find a diagram of the vac routing that shows them. If I fix the truck up right I will get one of those eliminaters, right now it is just get er running time.

Mitch is right, but I will see what I can find, should not be a problem for me :glasses7:

Yeah it sounds like it is still part of that shift system. Not very reliable. Google under same year Jeeps and see if you get better results ??

Thanks, they are long and come from the top of the transfer case, all the lines to the actuator on the axel are right and also all to the vac reservoir under the drivers seat.

I know it's a newer year but still [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i-gHnwnzfmI"]Front Axle 4 Wheel Drive Actuator Replacement 4x4 Dodge Ram - YouTube[/ame]

Yup , thats exactly what I did on my Jeep. Can't really remember, but I don't think that cable kit was very expensive.

I have been buried with customer work .....it comes and goes ....really weird.

Everyone is scrambling to winterize their cars and its still not really cold yet. We had a frost Halloween morning and that started the traffic big time.

a lot of radiators out there are in bad shape with greenish/ yellowish swamp water in them #-o:???:
