Stop in for a cup of coffee

Not sure yet, need some clips for the hood linkage so that is on hold, do have to mail out a bunch of hops to Kazoom, and the cb came for the truck so I might put that in.
What CB did you end up getting Ray :coffee2:

Got a midland that is in transit from a member and won a old jc penny one for $3 on ebay and free shipping? I did not think I would win it so now I have two. The antenna should be here today.

I should start putting it in today along with a small tach and oil gauge I have. The factory oil gauge is funny, the oil light is on dimly and it is a new sensor but I put a gauge on it and have 35 at idle.

I gotta get that torsion bar out on the drivers side at least - they both gotta come out but the drivers side has the header

I will be right over Mike, we will knock the two of them out :glasses7:

The Popmobile with a huge whip antenna on the back bumper........cool!

O:) thanks! will this work? Unbolt the Lower Control Arm from the front of the K, along with the Strut Rod, and push the whole assembly back until the Torsion Bar pops out of the crossmember.

There was just a post saying that.

I believe so Mike, be careful and release all the pressure from the TB by unscrewing the TB lowering adjustment bolt :coffee2:

yea, that's done and the clips are out - neither bar would budge - of course I don't have the correct tool(s) either

Vice grips and a rubber mat type material will work also just do not want to nick the bar.
