Hey Dave - definitely like to hear how it's going - I think the coffee shop is already mostly empty come 1pm (that's what time I see your first post today at) - seems to me no one in here gets scared away to easily by anything.. - everyone has something going on and it can be hard to respond to every post. Night shift checking in!
I logged in tonight after a loooong day of packing boxes and everything here looked different. Hmmmm...and I haven't even had a beer yet.
Then I looked over at my user name and I see "Gold Member" over my Avatar. How did that happen??
If it was a gift from someone, send me a PM and let me know 'cause I'm confoozled...and I'd like to say thanks!
Oh yeah, and I found my old Craftsman engine analyzer (in it's original box) plus all of my ball joint, pitman/idler arm and tie-rod forks. They should make rebuilding the front end of the GTS a whole easier now. I forgot I even still had them.
Moving sucks but setting up the new garage will be the reward! I haven't even had a garage for the past 6 years and all my old tools and stuff have been quietly resting in boxes in the basement.

Sorry for the delay in reply. Had to run down to the basement and check on the defrosting freezer. Fingers are frozen now. LOL!

We've been in this place for 5-1/2 years SLS. It's just a townhouse since when we moved back here from Memphis, I couldn't sell that house so I couldn't afford to get what I wanted here. I carried that place empty for 5-1/2 years before a good friend from down there called me up in June and asked if he could rent the place.
He's in there now and thinking about buying it in another year so it was time for me to buy what we wanted here. I'll put the townhouse up for sale after we get moved. If it doesn't sell in a couple of months, I'll rent it out. Market is hot here for rentals and it would be a good investment property for a while

Freezer is 2/3 thawed now. Maybe I'll get to bed by 11 pm. Gotta meet the guy from the Security alarm company tomorrow morning early at the new place to either service the system to make it stop alarming...or kill it altogether.
I've never felt the need for a security system before and it's a safe neighborhood, but I figure if the place has one I should have it in good working order. If the cost is too high to do that, out it goes!
Oh yeah, and to put a face to the name, here I am in the new Dart Cave today.
I keep telling myself that I'm only old when I look in the mirror...LOL!
