I was up until 11 running a sump pump outback.. that was fun
No I was running diesel lately and am sure the nozzel is gummed up. Going to try to finish the trans up today and a few other small things on it like the drive shaft loop and routing of some wires under the car. Might start putting the battery in the trunk since the roads have a ton of salt on them and dont want it under the car.
You need to stock that with fish!

Not.
No drainage issues in my yard, but I Have had to do the sump thing in the basement a couple times over the years . Those were after 2 ft spring snows with sudden thaw. the ground can only take so much.

Its hump day already!
It is ongoing always thinking of something else more to keep active. I did bring it to Carlisle last July and it ran good with the /6 but put a viagra in the tank and it has been swelling for 8 months now with the 440 swap. Lots of little things to still do, the trans breaking was totally my fault.

that is essentially what is going on here - once the ground thaws out- it's no issue... I have had it get into the basement - not an option! --happy hump day to you!

While I don't have any low spots, I do have much better slope away from the house in the back. The front is more level till about 20ft out. I dropped my front downspouts into 4" pvc and ran underground along the sides to the back. Makes a big difference when extreme drainage is needed.
Thats what I was thinking for M3 but to go into the front. That perferated 4" pipe works pretty good if you put it in heavy gravel and weed block over the top and then cover it with soil. Then a roll of solid flex pipe to the front. Not that expensive either.

The perf pipe is best if its water in the ground. To collect surface water an actual drain ( like I think Memike had posted) would drain it before it ever soaks in. I think M3 needs to do a combination of things. If everythings frozen mine will roll right off and down the back. Its when the ground and snow thaw suddenly that I had issues. Especially if we got rain at the same time. Ground can absorb a slow melt of a lot of snow. with all the clay underneath, its like a big wet sponge sitting next to my block wall basement. There is a perf pipe around my foundation. It is supposed to drain away - no Idea where to though. I think there is a french drain 'pit' somewhere. That actually works in reverse if there is suddenly too much water in the ground. I have seen pencil size streams coming out of the bottom two course of blocks!
