Stop in for a cup of coffee

I am an outie Ron wants to go get a fender for his monte from the junk yard! Closes at 12 so later all!

is that something that is "easy" (as in 20min) or will I have to leave the heads with him?

It doesn't take too long to cc one chamber. He may want to do the "total fill method" where you install the head with the proper head gasket and measure at TDC and BDC.

Morning all, took me awhile to catch up you guys have been busy this morning. Going to try and get a little shop time in this morning. Time to clean the work bench and put some tools away.

Have a great cruise...

Stay out of heavy winds and waves... #-o

well, anyone can get cheap and throw some sheet metal in there and no one would see ever it, but if you are building a car and have high hopes of it being a top notch build then no Johnny cut corners .....IMO.

I like your attitude... :prayer:

Same for me... If you are going to do it, do it right.... :glasses7: :thumblef:

I like speedometer pictures... :D

Here's my favorite. I should have taken one @ 100 mph but I thought having hands on the wheel is more important. About 2200 rpm @ 100 in 6th.

Good morning.
Checking in from fat camp. 228.2. (Down 1.2 from last week). Would have been better, but got a case of Weirbacher 'Big Beers' last night and had a couple.

That's ok, I just got to the gym for the first time yesterday trying desperately not to gain for the week.... #-o :violent2:

Then a light dinner... :color:

I never thought about bondo over the duct tape. Great idea (for a Toyota)!

My grandma got taken by a used car dealer back in the 80's on a used toyota. We found that they just duct taped over the rust holes in the fender and painted over it... #-o :finga:

This was a tough week from the start. Wife got me Valentines cookies. Went out for dinner Sunday. Was off work Monday...

Not gaining was a huge accomplishment. So far all diet control. Simple stuff. Like they got us all pizza for lunch the other day. In past I probably would halve wolfed down 3-4 slices, but stopped at 2. Need to work into more exercise - starting today.

I want one on the hood of my car for the slow drivers in the left lane..

We had a game called Mini Car Racing for old computers back in the day where you could dress up your car and use land mines, electrical mines. missiles, oil slicks, glue slicks, etc during the race. It was great stress reliever and fun to play. You wish that you could do that in real life to the a--holes on the road... :finga:

It's nice to fantasize.... :D
