Probably the direction I'm going. Braided for the front and rear disk. Mod what I need to in the engine compartment.

I do braided anyyime i replace hoses. Not too much difference in cost.. and they look pretty badass..got 5 braided lines and stainless tube on my scout. Looks nice.. and i should never have to do it again..

Figured I had my hair braided. why not brake lines.

I installed 3/8 stainless fuel lines on my Jeep. Wow was that stuff a bear to bend, and make damn sure your bends were in the right spot!

I will damn sure enjoy the good days while they're here.. before too long I'll be sweating like OJ telling the truth...

I lived in Memphis a few years ago and late Spring and Summer was insanely hot. It doesn't cool down at night either. 105° at 5 pm and 100° at 3 am in August. I can't even imagine living in West Texas.

They used to warn us to open our car door and start the engine and get the AC going before closing the door. People used to jump in, close the door and then pass out from the heat and bake to death in the car.

I do miss baking cookies on my dashboard in Summer though...seriously, we used to do it.

our humidity is typically so low that it's bearable, and it does tend to cool off after the sun goes down. remote start is a badass feature on newer vehicles. Glad my company truck has it. woldn't work for the mope since it ain't got AC, or a radio, or anything else.... just roll down the windows and head to Dairy Queen for an ice cream..

never did cookies, but I often put the metal can of FritoLay cheese dip on the engine while headed to the drive-in. chips and cheese, beer, movie, redhead, and somehow i could never find my lighter...

yea, the auto temp sensor thing is very cool - I now remote start my truck most of time - first summer I didn't know it did that - kickbutt feature

i've never owned a new car (wife has had several) but when I went to work at my current job, with a company truck, I began to appreciate some of the kickbutt featues. I get a new one every 2 or 3 years and the improvements each time are cool as hell, back up cameras, zoned heating and cooling, stereos and sync'd phones, etc... really cool stuff.. I'd still rather cruise around in my old stuff, but i guarantee when I drive to PA this spring, I'm riding in the 'comfort-mobile'...

I had a buddy that went deer hunting. He shot a buck and being it was November he thought it was a good idea to hang the deer balls from his mirror. Heck they were frozen... well lets just say the first warm day he regretted that decision!! Ohhh to be in High School again! LOL

You guys won't believe this. I have been putting Christmas decorations out. (again) My in laws are spending the weekend here along with other in-laws and my mother and father in law. Half are from Chicago and half from Sioux City and we are right in the middle. The Chicago family didn't get a chance to come to the parents for Christmas so we are having a belated Christmas here. LOL Wish me luck!
