so my engine guy cc'ed it for me - true compression is 9.8/1, which he said is about perfect for a street small block.. I am thinking the Victor intake and 950cfm carb go byebye and maybe a Performer intake and a 750 go on.. yea?

so my engine guy cc'ed it for me - true compression is 9.8/1, which he said is about perfect for a street small block.. I am thinking the Victor intake and 950cfm carb go byebye and maybe a Performer intake and a 750 go on.. yea?

We are damn close in engines, except your running aluminum heads right?

Im running an air gap and quickfuel 750, if that helps any.

yeah, Edelbrock heads - I have a Demon carb. that I plan to reuse (I think it's a 750) and I am still undecided on the intake... yea, our rides will be virtual "kissing cousins"

I think you would be happy if you went to that set up... the 950 carb IMO is just to damn much..
