Been doing a lot of that lately. Did finish the prototype tester though before it happened. Do not like the box it is in to tight.

Well started leaning the carb out and lost a metering rod spring, went flying off the rod when I took it out. Figures. But the rods were huge so there is part of the problem.
How can a huge rod be a problem?

I did a 12 hours sleep like Ben did too. I feel much better today.
I think they way I was feeling yesterday was the culmination of the knee injury, last weekend's sewage nightmare, going back to work after 3 weeks and 20 days of antibiotics (yesterday was the last dose). I think my body and mind simply had all they could handle and needed to shut down for a while.
I spent the afternoon catching up on home finances (paying bills) and I visited my Dad at his Alzheimer's Care Facility. He was in a happy mood and was glad to see me again after the 3 week gap due to my knee injury. I grabbed this quick pic as he was waiting for his Dinner to be served.

howdy Dave - seems like there have been a bunch of different ailments recently - as well as folks burning the late night oil and just busy with stuff going - not surprising really that you and a couple others needed to get some catch up sleep and no better day than the first day of DLS to do it too.. seems you closed out the w/e nice and mellow too..

Yeah, it's nice to feel like the roiling seas have calmed. Kinda like the sun coming out after a hurricane. It's a reminder that all is well and it's time to relax a little and start enjoying life again.

I do have to say that although we lost and hour last night, I'm among those that like DST. It's nice to have the sun shinning later in the day.
It's probably because my work day usually isn't over until after 6 pm so it's nice to get home and have a few hours of daylight to make me feel like I still have some of the day left to enjoy.
I just wish it would stay that way all year and stop this flip-flop time switch nonsense.

I'm with you - it's great that there is sunlight later in the day - and the darkness in the AM will give way to light too - all good! Tonight is my turn, I am pretty beat, spent most of today out in the garage again and then we took a hot tub.. relaxed to the nth degree. I am well done at this point.

Enjoy! I'm enjoying a couple of cold ones here too before bedtime.
Although the work week begins tomorrow, a good friend reminded me once not the let the weekend end too soon...and remember that Sunday is still part of the weekend.
