oh man.. that has to be pretty rough - what the heck?
I'll be honest with you guys. I've had no sense of smell for many years, I barely remember what cilantro tastes like.
Yes it sucks big time. Wine, coffe, food - nothing. Only the taste buds. That's why I'm experimenting with chili sacues.
Comes in handy when kids throw up and when the toilet is backed up, though.

More serious drawbacks are that I can't smell fire or gasoline fumes and I can't tell if food has gone bad.
That actually happened to me last week. I started eating a bowl of youghurt - from a container I just opened - and thought it tasted a little sour. Asked my wife to taste it and she said it was terrible, really foul.

well, got my taxes done.......$1400. in the hole now :sad9:
still a small price to pay for what the American government gives me
I cant help but wonder how a friend of mine who is totally ghetto and doesn't work and lives in Gov. housing and pays 40. bucks a month in rent, yet pays almost 200. a month for cable, and has three kids from different dads....................still manages to get a return of $2200. :evil3:

She's doing something wrong most people steal the cable. I know someone who got over 5grand back last year. Then her in and out of jail baby dad. Buys a scratch off lottery ticket.
Yep $500.00 a week for life.

Looks like i didn't give Uncle O quite enough this year either. He thinks i need to send him another $900.. and i really dont want to.. i wonder if i could just send him $900 worth of receipts for car parts?
The system pays well if you work it. Not to sound prejudiced, we have a large ethnic population here. Because of that we have a very active group of welfare type programs here. I would be scared to know how many people don't have a job here but live quite comfortably. Go to Wally World the first of the month and watch the huge cartloads get paid for with Government funded cards. Many drive Cadillac's and big SUV's and ride around in the electric carts because they are too overweight to walk. Sorry, rant over.

personal pride - real men earn it - others don't and you really can pick them out - they wear it - I would much rather have a little less and have earned it honestly than be some POS welfare scammer who has to cheat and lie.. what comes around goes around - usually those f%^ks get what is coming to them

You know. It's not the lottery winnings that bother me. I'm sure welfare and the prison system will be looking to get some reimbursement. What bothers me is the last baby she had was born an addict. I thought that in itself was a criminal offense. But no not even a slap on the wrist. I feel sorry for the kids they have no future.
