Big breakast, reasonable lunch, tiny dinner/try to make semi decent food choices..And moderate exercise (just walking). Sucks for a month or so, but it's a proven recipie. Fires up the metabolism, body adjusts to it, and after a while everything falls into place. Won't make you some ripped 'fireman calendar 'model. But you'll move to the size/weight your body is comfortable with..


And now that i see the picture, i don't think you need anywhere close to 50...
 
Well to recap my day. Nutroligest. Two hours of my life I'll never get back. Just to tell me what I already knew. Sees no need for X ray. Told my wife it's just another dent in his head. He understands me. One day in his office I struck up a conversation with a fellow patient. Something i rarely do.usually I just fall asleep till my turn. But this guy just wanted to talk so we had a nice little chat. When my turn came the doc says I see you were having a conversation while waiting. Are you familiar with the guy in center Philly who walks around dressed as Jesus carrying a cross. I said yes why. Well the man you talked to is his father. So I said WOW I met God the father. He laughed and said only you would look at it that way.
 
too funny - kinda figured it was all good.. otherwise we'd have gotten a "well, the wife was right" a long time ago ..LOL - or you wouldn't have showed up at all... shut off and "convalescing"

you would really think that mopar performance would make a spring perch with the correct index pin hole.

The older cars (our cars) have a 1/2 inch index pin but all the new spring perches have a 5/8 inch hole drilled into them :protest::protest:

I really don't think that was the response he expected. Then I followed with. Well doc as far as I know the only living people I know that claim to be able to talk to god and are considered normal are religious leaders. The rest of us are considered nuts and I have been diagnosed by you and the govt. As psychotic. Correct. The look on his face was one of those oh crap this is going down the wrong road moments.

So open the hole and use the bigger pin ?

this is the rear end out of the coronet ....an 8 3/4

the duster is inheriting it because I am still going with a DANA in the coronet..... only problem is I had to relocate the perches inboard 1/2 inch to go from the B-body spring width of 44 inches to the A-body perch width of 43 inches

stayed up all night last night doing this

isn't the centering pin bolted in? could you actually use the bigger pin where a 1/2 one already exists? wouldn't you have to drill each leaf spring?

I could have used a bigger pin I suppose but seemed easier to close the hole down to half inch by welding a 3/8" pipe nipple and re-drilling it out to 1/2
