well, if you cant be in love with your car then don't do it.

I have passed on cars before that I just wasn't in to ......like a 69 fury wagon.


Car was decent enough ....but I just couldn't get excited about owning it. I like those cars when someone else owns them but having one in my garage ...pass!! so I get it.

Thanks Rani, that's exactly it. Coming home I drove past the '66 Valiant 4 door 273 that's always in front of a bungalow on the main drag, that car gets me excited and I always watch for a for sale sign on it.

For once I can be one of the happy ones saying "what snow?"

It was kinda raw day though. I got out in the garage to do a little organizing. Keyword 'little'. But better than staring at the tube all day.

in a way I was kinda iffy about a 67 barracuda.

67 looks like a later A but when you nit pick the differences, a 67 is basically an early A with a dress on of a later car.

There are so many one year only parts and so much of the interior is a throwback to the early A days.

At first I didn't like anything 67 but once it grows on you and you can experience the magic of it, then it's love.

I am betting early As would have that effect on me if I was around one for awhile. I am not familiar with them and have not truly experienced an early A.

I am betting that is your deal with the 69 valiant. You already have a lot of time invested in the early cars and the 69 is "like" them but not really .....the not really part is hard to get past.

Crock pots produce some of the best food.
Just finished having the pork roast off the grill mashed with gravy, and early peas.
Wife had baked tater off the grill and talapia.

Well I managed to finish getting my other house ready for sale today. The listing goes live tomorrow...

Well something different to chase the Smurfs. I have 3 wild turkeys just land on the garage roof. Don't usually see them around here.
 
Got some more art work from my mother-in-law. She's been getting into doing soft sculpture lately and sent these for Easter. They are about 18" tall each and have bendable arms and legs. My daughter put them in this pose since she thinks the "girls" should be hugging each other in greeting.
