Stop in for a cup of coffee

I'm diggin' the nice big shot..

Yeah, I think I need to start linking more of these images hosted through my photobucket account (like I did with this one) so that they show big. It just takes more time so I generally just do a fast upload to the Forum.

The image quality is so much better when externally hosted, so I guess I just gotta take the extra time to do it right. :)

The few open tiles left in the ceiling are for surround sound speakers. I just have to decide how to mount them. A couple more are to finish up some of the electrical.

The bar will slide over the sump pump to hide it. You can see part of the bar framed up in the second pic.

Went from 5 CFL lights 9-5000K LED lights for the main area, 2 more for the far back area. Those lights were not cheap but what a nice improvement.

Wow, that looks great!

I had a awful brainfart and Ive been kicking myself since Sunday. I had a set of Aluminum valve covers like the M/T's except mine said Holley instead. I have not seen many sets of them. Anyways I went to drill one cover for my breather. I had it all set to go. I put the hole saw in the drill press and did a test to center it up.

I got it all set. Turned it on and started drilling. The second I got thru the cover it clicked! I drilled the wrong damn hole! So instead of the PCV hole I drilled out the oil fill! Im so ticked! They will still work, but its the fact I had it marked and everything. DOH!!!

Oh my. The possibilities...

Car has great potential! Very little rust. Great set of parts. Decent pedigree (even if i dont give two sh!ts about numbers). And the parts car i have has perfect replacements for almost all the 'iffy' parts. Great buy for me. Rob hooked me up good...

Have you decided on a color yet? I saw you asking about the vinyl top with a sunroof and meant to reply.

Yes, you can do a vinyl top with a sunroof but with the kind that has a hard panel rather than glass, you need an extra piece of vinyl to cover the sunroof itself.

The main roof get cuts about an inch or so smaller that the roof opening so that the vinyl can be glued down into the opening along the horizontal edges along the front and sides and wrapped up under the rear part of the roof. The horizontal edges then get covered with the weather seal.

The sunroof panel itself is covered in vinyl cut about an inch or so larger than the panel so that it can be wrapped up under the panel and then covered by the panel insert below.
