check out classic 2 current for decent sheetmetal and prices.

will do thanks. I got lucky with this donor car, 200 bucks for the car, so far, its got solid pieces to use for mine and will end up saving me over 800 in metal purchases, not counting shipping. The trunk gutters are solid, mine in my 74 arent, the door jambs are solid, mine arent.

Mine is a 74 4 door 440 kind of what you are doing in the build thread.

sweet. ill be honest, mine has turned into a monster of a project, what was a simple, hey lets get it driving slant 6 project, rapidly morphed.

Good morning peoples :coffee2:

I see I am not the only one here into rust resurrection #-o

yeah..... guess thats what i get for picking a 40 yr old car as a project

Exactly what happened to mine. Funny how things end up.

yeah, at least itll be enjoyable when done....and safe. This is no joke, i plan on it's maiden road tripvoyage being a trip along old Route 66, gonna hop it west of St louis and take it to LA and then I40 back, so all better be done right and tight before i even attempt it.

Just saw on your build thread you need a rendering d daddy does fantastic ones.

id love to have one, any idea what he charges? I got steered toward one guy by another member but he wants....are you sitting down? 2500 bucks for a top view and a side view of my car.

You have to ask him he is nowhere near that I am sure. He usually shows up here each morning. He did a lot of the regulars avitars. They are computer generated not hand drawn but tell you the truth some look real like Mitches.
