Stop in for a cup of coffee

Can laugh about it now. The worst part about it was the $500 clapped out 84 camaro my buddy found and financed to me. I was beautiful bright red with Gm peeling clear on about 50% and shredded interior, and the roar of the 2.8 6 banger. I was hating life.

I almost bought one of those but an 86 a few years back when I was in other of these cycles lol

Here is something messed up I called Direct TV yesterday to complain that I am paying for a local channel I cannot get since it is blocked all of a sudden, I want to talk to a customer service rep I told the computer, get this message saying they will connect me for a $5 fee. Shopping elsewhere now.

I cancelled my Direct TV in July, been with them since 2008 wasnt under contract or anything, well as soon as AT&T bought out Directtv last fall, my rates started going up by double digits. I was on the basic package, supposed to by 49 bucks a month, which is was, I mean it always went up every year 3-5% but never as much as it did last year, but by the time I cancelled, that out of contract basic package was 143.67 a month!!!!! They literally raised me every month and tried calling me monthly to get me onto a contract. I finally cancelled. No cancellation fees with me not being in a contract........ or so I was told in writing, well right before Christmas I get a certified letter from them, saying I owed them 98.13 for a "final bill" but no one seems to know why that charge is there as I had a zero balance when I cancelled and I cancelled before the next billing cycle hit. Either way, I simply just paid the 98.13 and am done with Directtv.

But to charge someone to speak to a customer service rep is just plain wrong and as anti-government regulation as I am, should be illegal.

I might just stick up a antenna, the only thing I would really like is CNBC and Fox.

I still need to get to the Antique auto museum in Hershey!
x2 I was actually there for a car show outside, but have never been through it. I remember going to a car museum in the area in early 80's I think it is gone. Not sure if that was a previous location or completely different.

I have Dish. Channel 8 news said last night they are not on Direct TV due to no contract agreement.
