I looked into saving $$ by dropping the phone line - then I would lose the triple play "discount" - just wasn't worth it - no other bill pisses me off more than the F-ing "cable" bill - thieves

$300 here for 2 seperate Xfinity services.. And I had to beat em up to get that... I do have a tenant in the Apartment to help defray costs tho...
 
I cannot get the triple play here, there is a phone company Frontier that has a monopoly on the phone in the area so I went with vonage 30 a month.

At 10am I have a drive axle job on an 08 Toyota Sienna van...

Been there done that.. Don't even have a hard line anymore.. But... I still got triple play !!!
 
Might mess with the new hood again today, one more fulcrum then the sheet metal on the top of the scoops and it is ready for bodywork, my favorite!:mad:

You can't get anywhere with them until your adamant with them to turn it off. Until then you get the pre scripted runaround bs.

And like George said, stop buy the office and complain and they will probably reduce the bill. They always have a new "offer" that gets you more for less money.

Just looking at antennas, maybe both of them might get me close to what I have. The local channels are almost a must here. I can just see Marilyn with a voice activated remote, between here accent and all the Hawaiian slang also should be a you tube video! She cant even use a flip phone and Danny gave her a smartphone for xmas, I wont go near that one at all!

I talked with my cell phone provider about switching our $50 a month land line to cell phone. Keep the same number and at $20/month.

Mohu Leaf antenna keeps coming up as a good multi-directional unit. Banish the bunny ears (and monthly bills) with these potent indoor antennas
 
Mike I have a old log cabin the walls are at least 6" of cherry then a metal roof in a glen, definitely need a outdoor antenna, cant even get a radio signal inside the house, forget about a cell phone no way have to go up on the street! Another reason I do not have a cell. Thanks though.
