Very nice day then. I know the feeling. My grandfather passed in 1999, he had the basement in the house my parents now live in, set up as his private man cave. I still have flashback moments every time I get to go down the stairs. It takes me back to this day. It's wierd how that works.Took the Fury out. We are getting used to each other, it's running better. Enjoyed the few miles of the special floating fusey c-body ride quality....I remember riding in the back seat as a little kid, feeling a little car-sickness. Anyway got some Beef Bourguignon in the crock pot. Will be ready around bedtime, oops. A few extra bottles of red wine my siblings left behind from my Dad's celebration. The crazy thing is, all the expensive wines we taste at work, really refine your palate. I hate to be a snob, and when it comes to beer I'll drink anything, (and if someone offered me a glass of any wine, I wouldn't refuse) but dang I don't enjoy the $10 bottles of wine that much anymore.
Sounds like you had a great day, I enjoyed my 72 Fury 383 I had back a few years back, the engine was sold to a cop that was building a 71 Barracuda and my uncle took the fury and put a 400 in it, that thing hung around my family for ever.Took the Fury out. what is Beef Bourguignon?

dude, im so making that tonight. I have a sirloin should thawing as we speak, was gonna grille it but this sounds so much betterIt's a French beef stew. You sautee up some chopped bacon, brown up some cubed beef shoulder in the fat. It has mushrooms, pearl onions (I just use regular) carrots and beef stock and red wine (burgundy which is Pinot noir, or any dry red wine.) And the bacon lol. Served over some toasted French bread or mashed potatoes.
