I'm friggin sick. head cold, feel like crap. Woke up around midnight and felt like I had thumb tacks in my throat. Came home from work around 2 and slept an hr and a half. (I rarely sleep during the day.woke from that and felt like I was freezing. tHIS SUCKS. Wife picked up some drugs for me...

Well, that kinda sucks ... Gonna be a late night Sunday. Steelers /Chiefs moved from afternoon game to 8:20 at night. Like getting up for work ain't bad enough
Yeah still. Well was, finally with two people kicking on it from each side and after driving around the block with only one lug nut in, it finally popped loose

Good you got it. Aluminum wheels? Had problems with both our cars (Magnum and Journey)losing air. Got much worse whenever temps dropped. Had all wheels and tires cleaned at the bead and OK now.
I thought they were steel but they are actually a 2 piece aluminum with chrome tin covers

Had no idea they were making wheels this way. This guy removes the plastic chrome from a wheel.

Yep. My 300C has them too. Folks over on the Modern Mopar forums have been talking about them for years. They are raw cast aluminum wheels with plastic covers epoxied to the face. It gives the look of chrome without the weight of steel wheels. They are much cheaper than the forged aluminum wheels or even fully finished cast aluminum. They also hold up really well to abuse over the years from road dust and salt and stay looking good.
You just have to remember that they are plastic chrome when you clean or polish them. People have found out the hard way what happens when you use chrome cleansers or abrasives on them.

Yuck.
There is a lot of crud floating around out there. Some folks at work have things like you describe and there is a nasty stomach flu going around too.
I think I will clean my blood with alcohol tonight as a safety measure...

IDK if yours are the metal covered ones or not but the chrome on the plastic ones is actual metal vapor deposited on plastic and can act magnetic too, although it is generally weak magnetism.

Well, the raw cast aluminum is made with a really high nickel content that lends itself to magnetism.. no wait, i just made that **** up. I have no clue...
