Stop in for a cup of coffee

good stuff
yeah we'll see if that wakes him up. I'm lucky that I'm literally the only one on the team that knows how to do my job though. They essentially begged me not to take that other offer in this conference. Doing so will literally set them back thousands of dollars and over a year in training time. it's kind of funny watching them squirm. That said, we'll see what comes about later this week.

Treva keeps telling me to go fishing and get away, it's hard to when I feel I need to be with my brother that may not be with me in a few weeks , so I keep my days for him at anytime he is awake and setting up.. Thank you Dave

It's good that you are there for your brother... You can go fishing any time...

Spring is here, there is a woodpecker I keep hearing, sounds like a jackhammer. Loud.

We have the emerald ash bore problem here where they lay their eggs in an ash tree, then the woodpeckers come and peck holes in the trees to get to the eggs and larvae and end up killing the tree with all the holes in it... :BangHead:

thanks for the ash bore, Michigan.... :icon_fU: (that's where they came from....)

has michigan done anything good in the last 40 years? Seems that since big auto went elsewhere, Michigan imploded

Besides being verbally warned/suggested that I shouldnt have disrupted the office in such a manner with my tone of voice, I'm good. View attachment 1715037835

Management is at fault also for not addressing it when you have been complaining about it before, they blew it off until you made the "scene" and contacted the owner....

Their lack of action caused this to escalate...

I was laid off from the automotive cable company that I worked for out of college... We were given severance package to stay until they wanted us to leave... I was second on seniority of the three of us that got notice... Number three guy came in once at a meeting and reported that he found an extra "tank" of liquid nitrogen that he was going to use... I jumped all over him and stated that it was mine because I had to make a special order and delivery to get that tank to complete the testing on the Chrysler JA shift cables and it was reserved for that testing - go get your own nitrogen....

Needless to say, I was not invited to another meeting after that....

I was upset because another engineer gave notice the last day before Christmas break that he was not coming back... so the company offers that position to the number 3 seniority guy, not the first in seniority who should have gotten the offer before me... I didn't like them playing favorites like that behind our backs....

In the end, I came out ok, as I landed a job at chrysler....

It's good to have some leverage.... :D

yeah, i hate office politics. But this whole thing is driven by the fact our office manager is desperate to keep everyone she can right now and doesn't want to write anyone up, she essentially confessed to as much during the meeting. We're behind as it is and she's afraid of someone getting mad and quitting if she pushes discipline too much. But I dont think this guy is gonna last, he has a no joke, 96.3% error rate. a 96.3% error rate, not exaggerating, that's he actual mistake rate. The average brand new hire, off the street is less than 50% and that's only in the first week. It's not hard to pick up on the stuff he's assigned, its easy. For comparison, i'm in whats considered the toughest assignment on the team, I have a .017% error rate.

Getting a little work done. Lower 1/4 patches and trunk floor extensions. I will need a wheel arch for the drivers side.
