Gotcha, I have a few. Ever had anything graded?
Bought a big box in 01 for an investment then started picking them up already graded, think I have a completre set now, they are in the bank, freaking draw weighs pron 100 lb.

I do paper too "Hawaii" bills, silver cert's etc My mom has given me the coins that came from her and G'ma and pop. Looking at 2 rolls of 1923 peace dollar's that are in MS category.
I might still have some Hawaii 10's, I do have a stack of bill from over the years, I have some gold certs from around the turn of the century, big bills and great engravings, I found a stack of polish bills here when I bought the house stashed in the basement from the early 20th, really bad shape for sure.

Up in the air if I want to get a few of these graded. I think they're MS 63 or above. At Ms 63 maybe $50 at Ms 65 maybe $150.

I'm still hunting one to have 1,5,10,20. Not sure which one offhand

That was a 500 coin box from the west point mint all at least uncirculated, I am sure a lot are much better. Did it for the silver value actually but definitely worth more as coins. That 2017 I got for 23 shipped as a pre order when silver was down.

Where do you order from?

I do pick up silver coins on occasion for me it is really if I like the look of them. I like some of the weird .50's like the commemorative ones, Ben franklin comes to mind right now. Have a few gold eagles from the family 2 10's and a five I believe, in the 20's I believe. They are the only ones I know are worth a good amount.

I will take a look the next time I am in the box, I know even living there they were scarce, the stamps are big $$
The guy at the coin shop was telling me the $20 "hawaii" is worth about $750. I about fell over in his store. Said there are very few because the bank were collecting them and sending them back to the states to change out for new issue while the smaller bills stayed in circulation longer(IDK). I think I might take a few of these peace dollars up there and get his opinion. He seems like a straight shooter.

I got into the silver eagles actually by accident, was at a gun show and a guy had 6 of them for 20 each offered him 100 for all and he took it, they were in the 80's and graded so I knew it was a deal.

I do remember them up there when I lived there the coins are scarce also, when you do see them they are usually dug from metal detectors. Still cool though.

I usually cruise e bay on ending auctions and snipe them, Quantities you really want to go with a dealer or directly to the mint if possible but they sell out fast, to be safe.

I don't think the mint will sell Eagles to the public anymore, at least not the last time I tried to get one.

I have not checked in a while but I got my box from them directly, Think I had to pre order it though, definitely cheaper since there is no markup.
