Stop in for a cup of coffee

So after installing the new emergency brake cables on the car. I thought I had them adjusted well. Took the car out and pulled the handle, nope not even close. There is some good resistance on the handle, but obviously I have to go more on the adjuster.... Its nice to have them at least installed now.

Congrats!
thanks!

Gotcha. Just curious how they will respond after their recent counter offer.
I'm nervous about that as well. Honestly I see it going either way. But 20k more a year I just can't turn down. Plus tons of benefits like a 1600 dollar bonus for maintaining membership in the military that I'll receive after my first 30 days. And if I'm on active orders, they keep paying me. It's a win/win. I've not found anything to be hesitant about like I did with the one several weeks ago. It is gonna be a challenge to get up to speed but nothing I can't handle. And they know that up front, so they set up performance raises for me too.

they can be a challenge to get right - I used Lokar stuff and even that took some trial and error

These were Inline Tube brake cables. Looked almost identical to the original. I know when I removed the old cables the adjuster nut was about half way up the thread's I maybe have 3/4" of thread showing out of the nut. I just hope it isnt one of those adjustments that when you get close it either locks up the brakes after a couple clicks of the handle or way out at the end...

honestly, as long as it works as it's supposed to - eh...

what's up

I picked up some dog dishes for the valiant so I am officially done collecting parts for it because from here on....everything is available new and available on demand. The hunt is over because I have all the used parts I need to configure this car the way I want.
