Sometimes I pretend to be normal
Hi Rani!
nice - so it'll be done in a couple weeks...??![]()
Thats a hell of an item to find in your easter basketI got my engine back in on Easter Sunday only to realize the new valve covers hit the brake booster.. - new booster is on it's way
LOL - I have always liked the Easter Dummy better than Santa Clod..Thats a hell of an item to find in your easter basket

It's a DoD contract job working on stuff for the Army, similar to my CAD tech job now, just much more hands on during the development and testing/engineering phaseSo please enlighten me, since I dont follow along and I just want you to repeat yourself again... What is the job?
I figure the guys who built this thing knew what they were doing - if it ain't broke...Yep, pulled my booster out when I was thinking of turning mine into a race car... Never had an issue with the manual brakes.
Yeah but you see he has a Bruce Jenner body car, it's a crossed dresser between Ford, Chevy and MoparBoooster !!!! do you really need a booster? ?
I stop all my cars with room to spare and I have never had an A body with power breaks.
Hope your bi#ch pump doesn't cost too much
Possibly, LOL.I figure the guys who built this thing knew what they were doing - if it ain't broke...
Seriously tho, you got a good price, because those are hard to be rebuilt in the average garage.well, it's about the webitching hour here - gotta get some Z's...
Possibly, LOL.
Honestly looking at all the drag cars I've seen I dont see a whole lot of boosters. Its just extra weight and they drop as much as they can. My brother has 4 drag cars and non have boosters. Low 10sec. cars too. But nothing wrong with keeping it either. Just telling you what I've seen.
I hear ya - but it's doing street duty now - and I likes my luxuries..Possibly, LOL.

Makes sense. Im just trying to gauge the turn offs at Brainerd when I ran there. I would say the first turn off is a 1/4 mile and the second is at about a 1/2 mile. Then the run out if you need to is much farther away. The road racing does make sense. That is some intense braking.Well think about it, drag cars typically run light, Tiny brakes designed to eventually get them slowed down, 1/8-1/4 mile at speed, 1/2 mile to 3/4 mile to stop or more.
Guys like me that's doing road racing need big, very big brakes, multi piston calibers etc. I'll be running a hydroboost and 6 piston calibers 13 inch rotors
I can honestly say I would like it as well. Sometime being effortless is nice... My car is a work out to drive sometimes. Especially when driving in it all day.I hear ya - but it's doing street duty now - and I likes my luxuries..![]()
