Keep thinking about the trunk floor extensions on my 66. How they can be made different/simple.
I fell asleep during the Nats Game.. About 9pm...They won, like 11-4... Woke up at 2:30, couldn't get back. So... a little screen time...and I'll nap again in an hour... Life is GoodCrazy night, I crashed about 4 for a nap before the storms got here, got up at 5:30 and had supper, then hung on as the storms got here , Buddy was going nuts and Treva fell asleep, I crashed again at 8pm , to much sleep

Speaking of paint...paint paddles

Boobs... Oh, sorry, just watched the traffic report. No idea what she said.![]()
You driving yourself now, or still needing an Uber?LOL. I have to go into the city today. Groan. Probably spend half the day just getting there. They shut down half the traffic lanes for the NFL draft.
What are you building?I can drive Short distances. My buddy mike is going to drive me down. I have to get construction permits and that will probably take hours of sitting.
My only issue with the SW paints working in a production bodyshop environment was that in the event something had to be repainted IE; a door got scratched putting a handle back in or something alone those lines the SW is recoat sensitive. It would wrinkle up every single time. That was quite a number of years ago using Ultra 7000 line. At the time I was going into another shop at nights and redoing their painters ef-ups. I switched them to ppg. Not really sure about the new stuff, but a buddy did an Hummer2 with the dimension and it looked nice. Once bitten twice shy especially with the cost of materials. PPG is my personal favorite as it's very user friendly, easy to work with, buffs nice etcSpeaking of paint...
what do you know about dimension fro SW? Not sure what the $ is, but they have it at Surplus City. Hoppy is considering using it, and now got me thinking...One reference I saw lists it as a midgrade, and PPG Shopline at the lower 'economy' level. I do see that it mixes at 2:1, so 1 gal is only 1.5 RTS. where the PPG is 1:1. I will need to find out if they can mix my color.
What are you building?
With single stage metalic, I dont figure on much buffing, but all the more reason I need it to lay down nice. I did read one review that said PPG 'flows better'. It did say that the SW has better coverage, but will get more sprayable materiel, more coats out of gal of PPG. Addition = fortifications? Bunker walls. Moat, tower...lolAddition on the house in the hood. Need a permit to sneeze in the city. If it was where you and hoppy came they are nowhere near as strict. Have to run.
Single stage met. are much harder to lay down and there really is no buffing because you'll break right through the very thin top surface and change the color. With single stage metalic, I dont figure on much buffing, but all the more reason I need it to lay down nice.
