Stop in for a cup of coffee

my "oh ****/too close" moment was in the late 80's - looking out the picture window at my mom's house.. I was IN the window watching the storm come in, thought it was so cool... then that one strike --"tick" and I thought "what was tha.." KAFUCKINGBOOM!!!!! 40 maybe 50 feet in front of me - - "HOLY ****!!!"... "HOLY F**KING ****"!!! it actually took me a 1/2min to process what had just happened.. even had a few moments of light blindness...

then in 07 or 08 there was the one I filmed here - I had started watching it from outside and my wife got pissed off at me and made me come inside... it wasn't 10min later when a strike hit close -- I was damn glad to have been inside

My dad had a boat we used to camp out on weekends when he would pick Sis and I up.. My step mom used to drink bloody mary's and mix up her stuff in the old square glass gallon tropicana bottles, remember those? Sitting in the marina, a storm rolled up. Flash boom and there was tomato juice all over the 4 of us and the inside the boat. Cleaning up, the biggest piece of glass we found was not much larger then like the size of sea salt, and the counter had the bottom of the bottle charred in it and the aluminum screen had a black circle. Still don't understand how nobody got cut.

Up a little early today... Golf game with my Tuesday group... But I gotta drive about an hour south to get there... Nice day, weather wise today...

" We're Gonna need a bigger Boat "
Lmao, Never could figure Dad out. Some small crap would set him off, but Stepmom got Sis off the boat and calmed down. We were still inside tomato juice dripping from the ceiling and he looked around and started to chuckle.

Wow!

Well, that liquid evaporated instantaneously, creating enough pressure to disintegrate the glass completely. Or the glass evaporated, too.
