Stop in for a cup of coffee

Went to the farm junkyard yesterday, was there a while, all the old dodge stuff got crushed but did do a trade for a bunch of nos mopar parts for nos ford parts, also on Tuesday will be going to a auction with the Dad, has to be in his 80's to help him out getting some combines, but check this out it is a estate auction not really advertised and they told me there are a bunch of MOPAR engines, mostly big block stuff that will prob sell for scrap prices! The estate owner died and was heavily into Mopars his whole life, should be interesting.
story of my life, always a great auction like that when i have zero money to spend :(

Should be interesting to see what is there, Kens wife was also saying there is a ton of cars and parts, a few barns full! I do not think this was publicly advertised, just in the farm equipment community, they are planning on spending 20-40 k there, amazing what some of that stuff sells for.

Do you need company ???

Sounds like you may score some Mopar parts. SCORE!

Did learn something yesterday about Fords, Ken is looking for a 351 W for his 68 mustang and Mad Santa stopped by who is all over fords, well asked him if he had one and of course he did on a stand, call Ken up and he comes down to look at it, well there is a year split with them that you cannot put a carb intake on it due to the distance between the heads, WTF? I knew the Clevelands were different but different manifolds for the same engine?

Fords are kinda weird that way. They changed a lot of things along the way.
Not my thing, did have a 66 stang with a 289 in the early 80's, man that took some abuse. Chuck and Ken definitely know them, they were BSing for a hour over them. Keith has met Mad Santa definitely a ford guy and one hell of a body man.

Hey what engines should I look out for except the obvious, hell if they are going to go for scrap I will find a place to put them.
426
440
426 wedge,
413
340
273?

All of the above. You never know what you might find on the rack.

Now that day will suck without a cell phone, might have to steal the wifes. You guys looking for anything? If it is cheap I can grab it think I can only bring 200 with me, need to sell a sun machine fast!

I can ask them for the addy. I will stop by there on Sat again. Be kind of weird inviting a ride along, they would prob not mind though, wonder if there is a web page on it.

273's only if they are Hp engines and complete. 340 anything. 383's are still around because so many have switched to 440. 413 or 426 wedges are popular with the early B body guys and are worth some coin. 440's are always good property and of course Hemi stuff is always good Gen1's or Gen 2's.
