Mine is sitting at 11 degrees above zero
Inside the shop? You need to get some heat in there!Mine is sitting at 11 degrees above zero

So my brother got me yet another project for Christmas. This time he got me a new lower receiver for an AR 15...... so looks like I'll be building another one. @straightlinespeed
You can have that deep freeze, I don't want any part of it!Screw you all and your heat waves... Its been -12 here the past 2 days not including the wind chill.. Tomorrow is supposed to hit double digits.. I think 14*, then this weekend sub zero again!
Mine too! I could always tell when it dropped into the teens by that telltale feeling of my mustache freezing. My mustache freezes in that 11 degree neighborhood![]()
Um how.... it's 40x80x 18ft tall. The amount of money to insultate it and trying to heat it would cost a buttloadInside the shop? You need to get some heat in there!
I'd say a budget brand. It's a local machined lower. Not much else is known.Ok, do tell! Budget friendly or high end? Since I cant afford a high end model, I think you should build a budget friendly like I did.. Go out and shoot it and compare to your other one... Round for round.. I'd be really curious.
I still have 2 of them to build, havent thought about doing either for awhile. The wife gets one of them, and the other will of course be for me. hahaha

Like my metal quonset.contemplating framing in 1/2 and engineered floor joists for the ceiling as i dont need to carry a snowload. But heating it would be an issue. May just make up a small insulated work area.Um how.... it's 40x80x 18ft tall. The amount of money to insultate it and trying to heat it would cost a buttload
Yay! Snotsicles! Its a snack when your out ice fishing!
I was fine with winter until my first cruise 9 years ago. Now i dont much care for it. Any of it.
But to move where its warm would be too difficult.
One reason moustache is gone.
Yeah. We've talked about it but for 5 grand in materials, I can build my own separate shopLike my metal quonset.contemplating framing in 1/2 and engineered floor joists for the ceiling as i dont need to carry a snowload. Big *** bonfire fireplace. Just like they used to heat castles in the Middle Ages. Just run an outside duct to feed air to the fire and keep the heat inside.Um how.... it's 40x80x 18ft tall. The amount of money to insultate it and trying to heat it would cost a buttload
I thought about doing a giant solar heaterLooks like this but larger. Fresh air feed into the bottom and fins on the chimney for heat exchange.
