Stop in for a cup of coffee

I was on the phone last night with a guy from FBBO. Has a weird problem. 440-6 car. He lets off the throttle the car drops down to around 1200 then gradually goes to the right idle speed, Good distributor, Carbs were rebuilt. He sounds like a good wrench checked all the obvious stuff. Oh yeah does not happen when the choke is on. I am thinking the lower throttle plate might just be touching. Any other ideas?

Got a Prestolite parts book yesterday. Holy crap the thing is dam close to a foot thick! The section I need 3/8 thick!

Think back to the old days of the person who had to type it all out. Or better yet the person who had to review it.
Bet printing and mailing a 10000 copies wasn't cheap either.

Got a great deal on it. $50 and another one also for another 50.. So I am now finally good on all the dual points 56 and up to 74. Took a while to gather it all up. My plan is take the sections I need out and copy them and throw them into a binder for easier reference. Has all the electrical part in it for starters, alt, wipers, horns etc.

Yeahh....But if you squeeze a tomato into a wiper motor, will it operate ??????

Robert give you a price yet on shipping? Oh guess what he gets a spot at Carlisle. Be prepared!

Happy humpday campers.. I believe it's time for a cup or two.

He did say "the cost for shipping and my time". Really your time??? Always pisses me off to hear that crap.
Your time should be factored into the price and shipping.
I don't want to hear about your time when I'm buying a book.

That is sweet actually read back a bit. Yhe tailgate chains need a bike tube over them!

OK question of the day

If corn oil is made from corn and vegetable oil is made from vegetables. What is baby oil made from?

Hey its just the verbiage that sets me the wrong way at times.
Your right its a great deal, my shipping was $11 also, my book was one of the more expensive $50.

Most of the time I reply to a CL out of state the people are surprised at it. Especially if I ask them to drop off a 300lb machine to a fastenall!

A question for you since your one of the electrical guys.
Battery cable clamps. I'm trying to clean the clamp marks off them. You know from the battery charger.
Anyway looking close it looks like they had a light gray colored coat of something on them.
Mine are aftermarket. Thought I could file them down and touch them up with something.
Cheryl told me to just go buy the right set. I told her $230 for pos and neg set and she replied "oh well, buy it"
Gotta love that girl...no she doesn't have a sister. :D

Looks like that other Mopar ecu tester will be here today.
I say, I say sir I have to stop picking up these super deals for Carlisle. All the holes between the sun testers are now officially filled with testers!

I'll tell him your needing a helper for a few days...

Lead oxidation. Once they are cleaned up and back on the battery in the car park it in a sunny place and just pee on them to get the factory patina again.
