Always the way...now that we have the new TV, my wife (who resisted the idea for 3 years) asks me why we didn’t get one sooner!

Yeah, like it’s my fault I didn’t fight her harder.

He tried a couple of times, but I kept my distance when he tried...

I put a piece of wood in front of him and he snapped at it... Then he stopped after figuring out it was not me...

I used the wood to block him from getting at my hand when I was carrying the bucket back to the creek...
Yep, your lucky you still have all your fingers. When they fill out the bottom of a trash can it's time to make soup! My old neighbor used to get them from his son's pond...

Man, was just talking to my ag agent, normally this time of year locally, we have 75-90 percent of the years crops planted, this year, literally 0 percent as a county. 29/35 days have had rain, and of the last 60, 48 of them had either rain or snow. State wide, only 3 percent crop land reported planted.

He said things are even worse in Iowa, Nebraska and Kansas.

Running out of time for Corn to be planted too. About a 3-5 week window depending on seed type. Soybeans have until about mid June.

Gonna be an interesting crop year.
