As long as they can do their job and take care of themselves I had no problem with them anywhere in theater.
I saw them everywhere, medical, maintenance, transportation, security, flight crews, everywhere.

She was just one of us in Rescue. Had a hell of a sense of humor also. We still kind of keep in touch. Think she does speeches now for a living. She has seen the good, the bad and the ugly of prejudice against women for sure.

AND including the MEDEVAC pilots and crews with some of the shitholes they fly in and pickup from.
Thats all we did. The USAF Pararescue guys are freaking amazing, basically go through two years of triage training along with almost seal training. They do it all land sea or air. Did hundreds of at sea rescues of guys having major medical problems on commercial ships. We could refuel in the air when USCG could not. That is how the perfect storm happened. I went to that unit the 106th a few weeks after that happened. served with a few of the survivors. Must have been seriously hard to get back into the seat for the next rescue. They set a record for the farthest rescue. Have to look it up over 2K round trip I believe.

Granddaughter had a blast at the Beach Boys concert.
We were four rows from the stage. She was initially a little subdued with it all, but loosened up and had a great time.
At the end we were standing and dancing at the end of the stage.
She got a guitar pick from the lead guitar player with his name and Beach Boy logo on it, and his set sheet (list of songs played).
Went for ice cream after the show and was asleep by the time she got to Mom's. :D

Yeah... closest story I have to any of that cool stuff is I got to do a VIP shoot alongside one of the Seal Sniper teams including Chris Kyle, before he became famous, Circa 2006. At the time, he was just a SEAL sniper badass but his legend would later make me wish I’d gotten each of their autographs back then.

One of those SEALs later ended up becoming one of the ones that took out the somali pirates to save Capt Phillips.

Used to work with them in intel. Definitely a interesting crew for sur. Had to PT with them each morning if you worked in that shop. That was rough even being 25!

Glad I BBQ on Monday. Weather taking a dump tomorrow. Rain possible until Saturday. Have to put on an extra layer of clothes and keep the black Honda happy today.

Morning all, cold and rain here this morning. Coffee is on, listening to the news, another damn school shooting here. What the hell is wrong with kids these days?

Another nice day here on the hill today, then the storms move it at 5pm, and out of here by 10 am tomorrow , another day another way, and yes sir the coffee is good this morning
Jaws, it takes all kinds to make this crazy world go round sir, crazy ain't it ?
