There’s no local votechs around here anymore. UTI was the last and they folded.Look into a local Votech, or talk to the local welding shop like airgas sometimes they do it.
now the welding shop idea, that’s a good one. I’ll call them quick

I called both just now. One referred me to Lincoln tech, the other said he had no idea.Maybe a local welding shop would help you out?
Its not easy. Vision is my problem. And when position changes the technique has to as well. The old fargo metal is really unpredictable, sometimes will put up with heat, then suddenly it will blow through. Rust on backside is my theory.I called both just now. That's bad!
Welds are supposed to be on bead on top of the last. Like a roll of nickels. Tough to do on sheet metal without burning through though. If your welder is set right.I’ve got a similar problem. I liked to braze and fusion weld both with a torch.I keep telling myself that I need to take the TIG course at the local JC, but something always gets in the way. Give me a 00 tip and a pile of coat hangers and let me at it.![]()

. If it went on long enough it would wear that seat off. 10-12 hours welding and fitting for me, take it to the professionals 10 days
