We went to the trunk or treat at the local church. Line to get in stretched over a 1/4 mile. Nuts. But kids got a ton of candy. That was at 2pm.

There was a nice office party planned since last month but last week we had a covid outbreak in one of my office buildings. So obviously everything is canceled, even after I made a costume.

So I'm going to go get a 12 pack of randomly selected beer, put on my costume and get wasted at home by myself. Still a party and safe from covid. Win / win

Ours. We usually get 300 or so. I usually buy $75-$100 worth of candy depending on the crowds and the weather.

Houses are too spread out here...

If you go to other neighborhoods where the houses are closer together, you can take in more loot with alot less walking....

Plus our neighborhood doesn't have any sidewalks, so people walk on the edge/side of the street...

Beer really has a weird smell. I don't really like the smell but I think it's an aquired taste.

I started a beer thread and got some ideas.

You're right, I definitely won't last the whole 12 pack but I will try my best.
