Nice, I was curious. Been reading in the hemi swap page that some are finding switching to the truck style timing cover is freeing up space in their rides but I’m trying to understand how, as I think the car one keeps are the components in tighter albeit lower than the truck

Passenger door weatherstrips all done! What a pita.
One strip left to do on drivers side. Think i will take a different approach though. Many guys say two coats of adhesive on panel, stick weatherstrip when its tacky. Im going to go with the reccomended method, apply it everywhere you dont want it, then drop weaterstrip on dirty floor.

That pretty much describes when I put it on my ‘53 Dodge truck. Whenever I would get really frustrated, I would tell myself, “It can’t be that hard, it was built on an assembly line by union labor.”

Yep. That's why we don't talk politics much here and if so for only a few posts. The owner stops by from time to time and I would hate to see this thread get closed down or moved to the N&P. We just play it safe and don't go there.

And if you are in it, when you pull up 'recent posts' it's full of that pollution. I like to be able to discuss major current events here in the coffee shop. sometimes that is impossible without mentioning some political aspect. If done in a 'matter of fact' way without taking up political sides, it can still be a constructive conversation. Just tough for some to not cross that line. So as TMM said - need to keep it to a couple posts and not let politics become the conversation.
