Hey, wth is going on with Carlisle/Pa as a state ? Has anyone heard anything? I just had my hotel rooms cancelled for July, with an email from the hotel saying due to Covid, they’re canceling my reservation. So I called the desk, lady said the Gov of Pa has put a hold on all events over 250 people thru the end of 2021! And that hotels are being forced to close for it as well

Getting ugly outside. I went out around 11AM in the Neon to get wiper blades for the Journey. So was thinking of making a couple other stops. Was just starting to flurry and wasn't supposed to get bad till 1PM. By 11:30 the highway was coated - no treatment. Luckily back road was salted and clean for the ride back. Got home, no problem. Decided to go just across the street to the discount grocery and there is an SUV in the retention ditch. Tried to turn and slid right through. Oops! Home for the duration now.

Yep, walking down the street in the pitch dark. With flashlight, there it was sitting on there porch!!! Grabbed it and ran!!! 4AM!!!!

Sounds like a good way to get lead in your ***. LOL

Just confirmed it with Expedia, where I made my reservations thru. It’s not a full closure but a capacity limitation. So they’re cutting reservations it sounds like. Might be something to monitor if you’re got reservations.

I’ve already gotten a full refund showing to my card too.

Makes a little more sense, but seems a bit premature to cut back stuff that far out. I don't think anyone is telling them they have to. I just got another email from Carlisle to buy tickets now at 20% discount...(they do that every year, nothing to do with covid)

My guess is it’s not directly related to Carlisle as the lady at Days Inn told me. Not with it being 3 different hotels in three different parts of PA. Oh well.

I’m making new ones, or trying too. Everything close appears to be booked up or twice or the cost. Maybe I’ll look for a camp ground near by and drag the camper over

I would be surprised they do it this year. The Gov already banned groups of 250 or more outside as of now, and last year the under the table deals were exposed.
