Fighting to stay awake
Having a nice glass of Vodka on the rocks.
I live about 45 miles northwest of SA. Today we had light, cold rain and about 15 minutes of fluffy snow, followed by about 20 more minutes of the smaller flake wetter snow. Nothing stuck.
Most snow I have seen here was about 16”, about 30 yrs ago. Every few years we get an inch or two that sticks. Usually get more sleet than snow, and we usually get that at a time it wipes out most of the peach blossoms.

I stayed up to watch the Ball drop in Times Square, only to watch the NBC feed zoom in on a Jumbotron with a count down timer and never even show the ball.... or the drop.
