Stop in for a cup of coffee

I have one upstairs I want to move out.........
One of his first nights here he starts in about a video game he's playing. I stop him and explain in a nice way we don't play video games and have no idea what he's talking about. He takes that as a challenge to try and educate us on the game. I cut him off pretty quick and ask him what he didn't understand when I said we didn't play and HAD NO INTEREST IN THEM!! He's freaking Sheldon from the Big Bang tv show to give you an idea.

I got me one righteous Tee Shirt in the mail last night. OMR rocks! I tried to go to a car show last night but the Demon is sending 18 volts to the battery. Not good. I thought I solved that by taking apart every ground and resanding the attachment point. I may have an alternator problem. I purchased a Bouchilion unit that controls out put internally. The modern Hemis use the factory ECM tied to PWM unit to control output. I went with Holley HP EFI it was my understanding that platform did not control alternator output. Arghh. I will research some more today. That built 360 with a tunnel Ram is sure looking good right now.

Good Morning All! I finally got my truck back from repairs, they did a DOT inspection (first one) on it, made it pass by swapping the worn front tires to the year, geeze, can't believe my fleet bought only two tires. Anyway, big thing was the transmission work, not done correctly. It revs to 5k on every shift regardless of load, pops up a few rpm at the shift and is soft. I give it 3 days.

Congrats on getting him out. There is a reason the fish rule applies to family visits!

Well no NFL for us this year. We believe there is only one national anthem for the USA. :usflag:
It use to be you went to a game, or a sports bar to watch the game to get away from it all for awhile.
You sat amongst strangers black, white, brown, liberal, conservative and no one cared you were there for the game.
That right now all seems to be gone.
I'm not going to cow down to a bunch of radical minority people (13%) and listen to their new so called national anthem.
Our anthem, our flag, our values and principles, our democracy doesn't need to change.
We're packing our Chiefs gear away for a year, or so. If it doesn't get any better then on the burn pile it goes.
JMO :soapbox:

Keep us posted, I've never heard of that problem, thanks and good luck!

Had heard something about that, terrible. In other football news, Ex Seahawk Richard Sherman sure did it up right.....not! Bad day for him.

We quit watching NFL two years ago, tough decision as we are Green Bay Packer team owners.

My son has asked us to take him and his room mate (high school friend who we know well). We will take them to that game (Bears) and our other son so looking at 5 tickets. Both just earned bachelors degrees and are continuing their education, med school and masters program mechanical engineering so we will give them what they want here. I did read that they won't play that second anthem at all games, mostly kick off game, playoffs. Divisive.

It's F100 Friday!

Good morning :D

Finally got a chance to try out that Lucky 7's Santa Maria rub, wife put it on some tri tips, GREAT STUFF!!!

Good deal :D I'll pass that along to the brat in law. He has a fan in the Pacific Northwest. When the ex and I were first married and moved here in '80 Tri Tips were new to us. After we discovered this new taste treat, on one of her parent's visits I burned some for us, her mom was a caterer and a very successful one with many celebrities in the San Diego area as regular customers. At the time we could buy the meat in the market for $.99/lb, just stuff they didn't grind up for hamburger . Mother in Law loved it. She went to purchase some in San Diego to perhaps add to her customer's menu choices. She found them in 1 meat market in all of metropolitan San Diego and they were $10/lb. "Screw that!" she said

We also didn't really cook them before we ran into someone on the meat isle raving about them. One thing we learned is they need to be cooked/marinated correctly, then there's a lot of good beef flavor with that cut.

Don't buy the bright red ones! Get the ones more towards the purple hues. Always cut them across the grain.
