I hope so. I took it off solo the other day and what a pain in the ***!
Scrape as much as you can. I use a die grinder and a 3M Bristle Disc. I quit using Scotchbrite for that stuff years ago.

yeah.. i think i will end up ordering one.. and just really cover my windshield... I have been waiting like 2 months to get this hood off now.. Being a hermit has drawbacks

I use the yellow there a bit finer. but green or yellow they work great.

Speaking of smoke, it's supposed to be smoky here until this evening. Late yesterday was pretty nasty.
Never tried the white ones but use the green ones for stripping paint in tight spots like under hoods and door jambs.
