Man this suck updating the distributor list adding/deleting and have to raise ever price since parts are getting stupid. Glad I stocked up. DP leads are non existant.
 
Well, im glad im test fitting and checking pieces as i go on this rusty onion. The outer panel kicks back about 1 degree, will make door gap look bad. Cut a couple tacks on inner panel and move it. Easy stuff to do now.

They were until they switched to roller cams after the 78 model year, at least the trucks I know for a fact were. Everything else switched to cast cranks in 73. That’s why it used to be a popular thing to swap in a 318 crank when rebuilding a 72/73 340 since it was a direct swap.

Next page please, Thursdays are my days to sleep way in I guess, took my younger son a good spare 15 inch tire on a wheel , one of his friends was stuck on the highway just north oh the Memphis Bridge, needed a 5 on 4 1/2, he new I would have one :lol: ..
but 11 o'clock at night !! Yep, my sleeping habits are mest up for a day or two now... young fellow handed me 2 hundred dollars :eek:, I get my tire and wheel back Saturday.. my goodness, I couldn't take that, I was here to help I said, Creed said take it, and said it was worth it not to bother his dad because he would have britched about not having road side on his trailer for a month!! Plus he knew he would never find a wheel and tire. Costs of racing the dirt I guess.
 
hmm.. NOS regulator just showed up... shorts a short across the 12v>gnd but it actually turns out it's 15ohm which is prolly the value of the resistor.. which means my old one prolly wasn't bad but was burning off crap... well.. the new one is shiny at least :)
 
wouldn't think a regulator would get that hot just from the key being on.. and no field wire though
 
Naw.. will test it by seeing it charges :) Was just afraid of melting stuff, i love the old NOS tin/cardboard containers though
 
My projector has developed some bad pixels.. and i was blowing it off.. decided i should check when i bought it.. 1 month left on warranty! ahhh... didn't feel like 3 years... I will say, i expected to pay shipping but nope.. BenQ paying shipping both ways, i love a company that takes care of customers :)
 
Just got word. A friend of Andy (my oldest) passed away yesterday. He had a stroke/brain bleed. Too young at 33.
 
Well, decided to clean some stuff up, need to pull Studebaker out for a bit, Avalanche needs oily change.
So a few trips in and out,hauling scrap and stuff that needs to be elsewhere and the motor on overhead door goes into thermal shutdown. Just when i had good momentum going..
