Stop in for a cup of coffee

It is great but I think the album is Signals, love the song Subdivisions, conform or be cast out, holy cow!

Dam, you're right, it is Signals... Subdivisions was the first song on that album...

Brain fart... :BangHead:

I also liked that album cover because it had a Dalmatian on it... My favorite dog breed...

I have had 7 Dalmatians throughout my life and they were all great dogs... My best friends... My family has had Dalmatians since 1948, this is the longest we've been without one... I would get another one if my health was better, but training one to behave off a leash will be difficult for me right now...

Let alone eating possum.

Is that what they are calling now days???

I just got this shirt in, wanted it even though I didn't go. I did buy the vinyl and what a great album. He has his daughter sing a song on it that I think is one of the best on the record. Sent my sons to see Roger Waters in the Tacoma Dome many years ago but I've never seen anyone but Nick Mason perform and that was amazing "Set the controls for the heart of the sun" comes to mind, vintage.

I saw the last time Roger Waters came through and played the Wall about 14 years ago... Great show, but David Gilmore wasn't with them....

My parents had 3 when we were growing up, one was deaf but I don't think that's uncommon for Dalmations, they were good pets

Same tour I think, we drove from Whidbey Island with boys to Tacoma Dome and when we dropped them off w/o even knowing they were there we see my sister and BIL from Salem OR right at drop off spot, random.

Morning the east coast group must be waiting to see what Phil says about the next six weeks. All I know is here today it's in the 60's, and time to go hit some golf balls.

We have Woodstock Willy...

Which is a good name for the guy in the picture I posted earlier...

You guys need to stop posting (along with me) until I catch up...

Two steps forward and one back... :BangHead:

The more I/we post, the more I have to read to get caught up...

I had a deaf one when I was married... Wasn't a handicap to him as he keyed off the other one.... I had trained them both with hand signals and voice commands before I knew he was deaf... He picked up just as fast on new commands, sometimes a day quicker than the female that could hear, sometimes she would learn a day faster...

They were 2 1/2 months old when I trained them.... It usually took them 2 - 3 days to learn new commands... They learned the basics in 2 weeks...

It was actually a benefit to him to not hear the ex-wife screaming and yelling... A peaceful life in loud surroundings... I had to develop my ability to ignore her, he had the natural ability...
.
Deafness is more prevalent in Dals, but still rare... I don't agree with the ACK recommending putting them down because they are deaf, just get them fixed and let them live their lives... That way the deaf gene won't get passed down... Don't put a good dog down for something that isn't a game stopper...

One time I told the Dals to do something and the deaf male obeyed, while the female that could hear got stubborn and didn't... I called her out and asked her, "How come he listens better than you and he's deaf"??? The look on her face was priceless, she had no answer... (She always had something to say)...
