Weather on the news says -36. So now, on the coldest day of the year i have to trudge out to pumphouse and spend an unknown amount of time thawing the water line…

Yep coldest here as well, wind chill is 45 below.
Going to work today and looks like an easy day and taking Friday off, so looks like a nice long weekend. 
Hopefully it did not split Frank

Doing pretty good. Sore where they cut a hole in me and rooted around. LOL. Been waking up around 5am -pop an oxy and lay down a while... Pretty good after that. Tylenol gets me through the day.

Well SOB, I completely forgot about what Sunday was. Until I just got my mail and had a congratulatory card from my company First Sergeant. Sunday, the 9th, marked 21 years of National Guard service. Man that snuck up fast.

Thanks. Unfortunately there is no 'fast' lane on this. It's slow or slower' So I'm hoping for regular slow. I have a great surgeon and expect the spine repair will do fine. Just hoping it actually fixes the nerve pain problem I started with. I've dealt with other nerve pain before and they can take a long time.
It likely froze right at foundation in the pumphouse. I have a fan moving air, it probably quit. So i heat the water line for 1/2 hour and it breaks free..

Hah! On weekend I make a big ole batch of oatmeal then put it in Tupperware in fridge so I can have oatmeal all week! I love oatmeal with walnuts and blueberries with a splash of honey! Berries are seasonal tho! Jodi sometimes gets lazy on weekdays and eats my oatmeal for lunch! Which kinda irks me on occasion when I get a hankering for oatmeal in the morning and find out she cleaned me out day before at lunch! Hah!You have your oatmeal in the fridge? I cook mine on the stove.
