Truck was stiff this morning, steering was really sluggish, thats when hoses spring leaks as the return flow is very slow. Loaded pellets on tailgate, now waiting for it to reach operating temp before i back it in.

Glad you found pellets or are you still running on your old supply? Prolly will be awhile till things warm up unfortunately, here too but not nearly as cold

I bought LED strips to light under the shelves on my tool truck. They worked great. They took very little electricity to run (.3a/8' strip) unlike the 30 year old DC florescent lights that I replaced. Nice and bright. View attachment 1716365996

Most here just climb the street light poles. City greases them. It doesn't help.
An 18 year old slipped , hit the ground Headfirst.
Family is already suing the city, for creating a Hazzard.

We had a peet bog catch fire just upwind from here, remnants of a big brush fire at Vandenberg AFB. It took them weeks to get that thing extinguished

When I was a kid in San Jose walked home from school, some kids on the route decided to climb the tree that was growing in the City's park strip. Kid went out on a limb and fell out of the tree onto our front lawn and broke his arm. We got sued, had to pay for ambulance etc., wonderful world it is, even in 69

On another note. I thought I was going to have to spend a few days in the hospital for monitoring..
Nope sent me home. Visiting nurse for Blood draws once a day.
All I had to do was show I had adult supervision .

One thing I will say about the city they have camera's everywhere.
Even secondary streets.

Water is running,filters changed. Trudging through the snow 30 feet to pumphouse carrying stuff about did me in. Thinking a tee and a valve to make that thawing easier.. i see i have some fitting to change on the main water line, as soon as weather warms up..

Yep put in a valve and drink some tea....

Good morning to you all a Friday for the working bunch here and Valentines Day for the rest of us. Cheryl's coming home later this morning. Her mom's back home and now has 24/7 hospice care. Cheryl got past her bout with the flu, very tired, but wants to go out for dinner tonight. Smart guy that I am, I made dinner reservation for tonight a couple weeks ago anticipating this. Here a Friday/Valentines Day the restaurants will be packed. Have a great day!!
