I had to get my tool truck towed because I sunk into a frost heave. 10" from a shop door. Sunk right in and couldn't move.
They put chip n seal on some of the roads here....................... Better than dirt or gravel though.

Looks like BCT barracks for week 1. Week 2, we moved to brand new ones with stainless trough

Well at least you didn't cause any damage. I replaced a few frames on trucks that drove 70 MPH on gravel roads in the spring. at the first dragstrip I raced at, it was called the dust bowl. pits were gravel and dirt. they asked for the old oil so it could be spread/sprayed to keep the dust down. wonder what it did to the farmer's corn?

Limestone fines is common, but dirty, tracks everywhere. Crushed concrete is the new in thing, then topped with reconstituted asphalt..
I think in my area they call it CR6. Which I think is basically crushed concrete

I think I will try antihistamine sleep aid tonight instead of melatonin. Even though I only take 5 mg. It gives me bad dreams. No reason to drown in my sleep. I was on a sinking boat last night and woke up to get out of the dream.
My dreams are mostly working with my family or friends and trying to finish a job, and then I'm trying to find a toilet.I think I will try antihistamine sleep aid tonight instead of melatonin. Even though I only take 5 mg. It gives me bad dreams. No reason to drown in my sleep. I was on a sinking boat last night and woke up to get out of the dream.
Been a long day and 10 below so going to bed.

Morning. 5” of snow today and 20 mph winds later! Should be interesting. Guess I’ll spend the day in the garage.

Well after fame and glory all week teaching, today it is back to real world, shovel, chainsaw, tractor. I am clearing a spot on the edge of one of our pastures to create a fruit tree orchard. The brush pile is probably twenty feet across by 75 ft long already. Gonna be a big fire!
