Hah! I have not even went back to building the road up on top I am focusing on pasture clearing this winter. There is so much to do I just focus on one area per season. The land had been feral for about fifty to seventy five years when we purchased it. The parcel was cut off by a good size creek so zero access. First thing we had to do was build a bridge to even gain access. That is how we purchased so many acres so cheaply. It has been a lot of work. As I age I am contemplating how I will manage it physically? Considering building a small house on the place and rent fee is property maintenance. I just don’t see me physically able to keep up with it as my body deteriorates.
Morning all!! Cheryl and I went out to dinner last night a little pricey, but we definitely get what you pay for. A four-course dinner had a table for an hour and a half great atmosphere and no rush to turn the table. It was a great evening for her, and us with all she's been through the past few weeks with her mom. Not much on the schedule today, hitting the gym this morning and then maybe breakfast. I've had a forearm and shoulder problem the last few months nothing painful just tight and uncomfortable. I'd lost about 50% strength and finally gave in. With a phone call to my doctor for the past 30 years he approved PT. I've went in twice so far and one thing they did during my session was a 15-minute session of dry needle. They stick little pins in your forearm hook you up to a little electricity and you sit there and watch your hand twitch for 15 minutes. First time my arm was a little sore for a couple hours but then felt great. After the second session I was lifting again almost back to full strength. I'm taking small steps though PT guy said not to push it. I'm approved for another seven weeks but don't think it will take that long. Dry needling is a great thing when ice, heat, or stretching doesn't do it for you.
Poking around on the 215 read a clip on Wiki, reference was Steve Dulcich, kinda caught me off guard.
Up here it is called modified. If you go to the Limestone quarry here you have a choice of Modified 1A 2A 2B Dirty 2B and right up the line getting bigger as you go up. Modified is quite fine and actually used on the icy/snow covered roads. It packs like concrete but you need dirty 2B it is the size of your finger nail but is not clean it has a clay binder and used in the base of driveways once that is packed down you can add 1A and when it is settled add the modified.
Yep after seven months I gave up and found a simple solution to my problem. Why continue to not be able to do all the things you could do??Rehab is for quitters...![]()

at the first dragstrip I raced at, it was called the dust bowl. pits were gravel and dirt. they asked for the old oil so it could be spread/sprayed to keep the dust down. wonder what it did to the farmer's corn?
I think I will try antihistamine sleep aid tonight instead of melatonin. Even though I only take 5 mg. It gives me bad dreams. No reason to drown in my sleep. I was on a sinking boat last night and woke up to get out of the dream.![]()

My dreams are mostly working with my family or friends and trying to finish a job, and then I'm trying to find a toilet.
Where is the guy with the knife?
