My buddy from Texas called me last night... I didn't want to answer because he's an alcoholic and an asshole when he's drunk... Plus I was dealing with the Shingle vaccine side effects again and trying to get to sleep and didn't want to deal with his drunk ***...

I knew he was very drunk when he called and I didn't answer the first two calls... If he's calling this late, it's because he's sloppy ****-faced drunk and wants someone to talk at, but he can be very rude and slurs his speech so much I can't understand what he's saying....

Alcohol had ruined his life so badly that he's living in a 14 foot trailer and has no driver's license... But he refuses to stop drinking.... He's a great guy when he's sober and will give you the shirt off his back, but he is now consumed by alcohol....

I wasn't sure if he had an emergency (in jail) or was just drunk... So the third time he called, I finally answered he was sloppy drunk as I suspected... I told him that I was having problems and couldn't talk...

So I called him this morning to give him a taste of his own medicine and wake him up when he's sleeping... It took 7 calls and he finally answered and said I woke him up...

I played it off and asked what the emergency was last night, and he couldn't even remember calling me... WTF???

Paybacks *****... Now you are awake and can't get back to sleep...

Thanks for all your sacrifice and dogged determination to provide the best tasting experience possible. The dedication and sacrifice tasting untold hundreds of whiskeys, savoring the taste and notes of each must provide a torment most will never know. To agonize over each selection representing hundreds of tastes and ultimately selecting the perfect line up for the event must be exhausting. I know in an effort to be totally fair and unbiased one must cleanse their pallet so there is no end to the elegant cheese crackers and fruit you are forced to consume. We thank you for your martyrdom and do our absolute best not to face a similar fate.

Gotta go the doorbell is ringing and I gotta sign!

O heck yes I am! The smack talk has been ridiculous from the non hockey folks. They have no idea how closely these two teams are actually matched. Tonight is anybodies game. I do think the US has the edge in net. Bennington is not in same class as Helly. But my opinion Canada has the better offensive lineup and better D goes to US by a smidge. The injuries to both squads kind of offset. Should be just a great game.
