Mostly just for shade 1 week a year. If it gets windy, they tend to blow away. We had a storm roll thru near by last year, canopies were flying away, so they need to come down quickly - if you can. Pits are a couple miles away from the starting line!I think Frank has a durable one? Maybe?
The wind here would pretty much destroy anything inexpensive

lol yeah seems like little sleep here in the coffee shop
I'm working on Spring cleaning also...from when I retired 3 years ago. just waiting to get some gumption to start. It was ok. Just worked on chores around the house. Trying to get home repairs and deep cleaning done before the nice weather hits so I can just enjoy that and tackle car projects.
Cause everybody's drinkin' too much coffee...
I wonder if them agricultural Hoops would serve the purpose? Around here they use that semi-clear poly film to cover everything from berries to cannabisMostly just for shade 1 week a year. Last big one I had took flight. I had to destroy it before it could hit the car. I won't do that again. I was thinking of getting one and sewing in modified billows to relieve pressure rapidly during gusts.Mostly just for shade 1 week a year. If it gets windy, they tend to blow away. Snake bites work well. Me and my childhood friend Craig (RIP) used to use a shot of Crown Royal and a shot of Peppermint Schnapps. Although there are many variations.Anyone remember the Tiaminic Yellow cough and congestion? I remember it was some of the most disgusting stuff on the planet, but also worked.

If it don't work well for the intended purpose, have another dose and you won't care about itSnake bites work well. Me and my childhood friend Craig (RIP) used to use a shot of Crown Royal and a shot of Peppermint Schnapps. Although there are many variations.

Exactly. I remember Craig and I both downed 19 double shots one Christmas probably about 1989 and could still stand up. Although with great difficulty. I sure do miss my friend. If it don't work well for the intended purpose, have another dose and you won't care about it![]()
I screw lag bolts thru the feet on my pop-up canopy. I would zip them out and fold up if any winds or storms were in the forecast. Yes, 8" lag screws directly into the salt, but big gusts will rip them apart as it is so open and flat. Typically tie down to the trailer also. Just need a decent quality but also inexpensive. That is more of a Pop Up style. I want one with the 1.5" conduit like framing.
Take some 5 gallon Buckets screw the legs thru into 2x4.That is more of a Pop Up style. I want one with the 1.5" conduit like framing.

Had one, it was junk. Mind you wind was crazy that night. And it takes time abd tools to set up. They make a double length pop up sun shade, car club has one, its nice. Had screw on foot pads that we put sand bags on.I think Frank has a durable one? Maybe?
