Stop in for a cup of coffee

Speaking of belts, I just got mine in for our old vacuum cleaner. The beater brush was all balled up with hair and it burned the belt up. Today's project. Oh, I need to get a water filter for the frig.
On an equally not difficult task... I think I will change batteries in the doorbell cam. It went offline 2 days ago. At least I think it has batteries, not 100% certain.I have it hooked to the house doorbell, and can't remember if it had to have batteries as well. All the remote cams just take 2 lithium AA. I installed almost a year ago and 3 out of 6 are still good.

We have a couple Ring doorbells. The app notifies me when the batteries are getting low. I have an extra battery on a charger so I can just change them out.

Bad news for the Winternaionals at Pomona. A couple Santa Ana wind days, high 80s and low 90s. That's not going to do those snow capped peaks behind the staging area any good :BangHead:

Good morning, getting ready for work and not looking forward to it.
Have to replace a rear bumper on a Chevy pick up. Farm truck and it's a muddy mess.
Sorry to hear the news Pete.

I know those are rechargeables cause I just set one up for our neighbor. But that didn't get power from an existing wired bell. Ours is a BLINK. I looked it up and it actually operates off the non-rechargeable batteries regardless if you tie it to house or not. Just acts as a switch for the old doorbell and doesn't use power from it. I'm sure I knew that when I installed it. Didn't make sense then and still doesn't. Why wouldn't you design it with recharging for batteries?

Ya, that doesn't make sense. Mine can be hardwired too. We still have the original dorbell hooked up. The old 2 chime goes off downstairs. There is an old buzzer upstairs but it has a mind of it's own. It only buzzes when it wants to. LOL

morning to all of us old farts that are falling apart. Waiting on biopsy results for a plan of action. Till then oatmeal and coffee is on.
