Stop in for a cup of coffee

Stand downwind of the broccoli field about 4 days after they hit it with the flail mower, that'll cure you of that
Hah! We have grown literally hundreds of acres of broccoli. It was in our rotation! And it was our hands down winner in the bio digester. We would let it (remains after harvest) rot, capture the methane and convert that to electricity to run our own processing plant. Broccoli created more power per ton than virtually any other crop. We left nothing in the field!

They grow all kinds of stuff in this valley. When they harvest peppers, I used to stop at the end of the rows and look at the rejects. If they weren't shaped just right for the markets, back on the ground they went, nuthin' wrong with them, just funny lookin'. If and when they planted artichokes, harvest time, they put guards in the fields to watch them  .

Morning .

In Italy, it was creepy, before sunrise, groups of people with lanterns would go through artichoke fields and pull snails off of the plants. Looked like a scene out of a sci-fi movie

I went by the dirt track yesterday. The new owner is doing some improvements. He got some clay from a nearby reservoir for the track, and had part of it spread out. Didn't have it compacted yet, with the prediction of rain for the next few days it might all end up in the infield. Also searching for the storm drains. I've seen that track with enough water in it to have the Santa Maria 200 for jet skis

It can create gas all right.

Came out to the bar alone tonight. The regular one that I come to on the main Street. Just ain't the same without my Viet Kieu buddy here. Only drank four beers. Guess I'll go home now.....

Till daddy takes the T Bird away!
I am simply too big to fit under the dash. You would have to grease me up like a pig and fold me in half to crawl around under a dash anymore!

Well, you wake up in the mornin'
You hear the work bell ring
And they march you to the table
You see the same old thing
Ain't no food upon the table
And no pork up in the pan
Loving is what I got and remember that!

Slicing up some brisket we did on trager yesterday. Since our resident cook is about to be gorked out on pain meds and unavailable for a few days thought we better prepare. Jodi is a straight up carnivore. What cha think @MOPARMITCH ? Got brisket over there?
Merica!
