Stop in for a cup of coffee

I could have done that sooo much cheaper... i could buy 3 440s for what my heads cost alone.. but now that i have the heads and **** i'm sticking with a small block... plus it's my first small block and i kinda like it :)
That’s why I ultimately stumbled into my 440 build. Cost was gonna be equal between the 318 I had and the 440… at least engine wise. Then it mission creeped badly….ive got close to 20k in upgrades in the dart and I still can’t drive it… yet :BangHead:

Agreed, I am saying buy a stroker from them!

Shop cost for rebuild is crazy... and I think worse in other areas than here, IF you can even find someone interested. Especially if it's just a. Stock rebuild

You can wrap $5000 up in a real hurry doing it yourself. I had about that in my 273.

yeah, my main thing was i wanted to keep the pushbutton trans (stupid i know) and the car had a poly, so i got a $300 318 and put 4k into the top end on a X miles motor.. :) funny thing is now i have a big block pushbutton spare trans.. but i would eat a dick selling my trickflows and small block parts.. plus for what i'm doing a small block is plenty. Just a beater to drive to work and hammer on

Got a call from dentists' office yesterday, wife was there for appt. and got a nosebleed couldn't stop it, ended up calling 911 and ambulance ride to hospital. I was off the grid up in Concrete so 1 1/2 hours away, got to hospital by 3:30 and they still hadn't completely stopped it. Ambulance drivers said it was the worst they'd ever seen, she was bleeding out of her eyes as well and they had to use suction to keep her from choking on it. She's fine now at home, just took her packing out (I was concerned that it would start again but it didn't). Crazy afternoon!
Wow, that's crazy. Good to hear she's okay.

This is nuts... been looking for a 360 block for like a year.. or another 318 roller.. there has been almost nothing for sale other than **** for like $800 that has sat outside in the rain for 10 years.. There is a 340 block for $800 bout a hour away from me.. almost considering it...

BTW.. there is a 318 LA roller block in Rochester PA for $30.... at first i thought it was rochester MI which is like 5 miles from me...
I have a 360 block and set of heads at my MIL's as well as a 273 and heads................
