What NASCAR race was it when Goodyear totally screwed up the compound in the tires and it turned into a demolition derby?

This is going back a few years
2008 Brickyard 400. I was there. They could only run like 8-10 laps before the tires would explode. Jimmy Johnson won it simply cause Gordon’s tires blew in the final lap.

I installed these big commercial rolling steel Overhead Doors myself in my shop 25 years ago. I remember setting the spring tensions on the drums using about a 30 in Long automotive pry bar back then. Well, the doors have been a little cumbersome to open and close recently so I thought I would tighten the springs one more step. I guess 25 years have had their toll on my body because I couldn't pull enough tension with a 30-in bar. Had to put an extension on it from a piece of pipe. I had to make it at least 3 ft long. Proves to me. I ain't as strong as I used to be. Both doors are working much better now.. LOL

More downsizing today, mopar parts this time, weight considerations. Sold pair of J heads (1.88's) and pair of 904 transmissions, guy was buying for the cases, also package deal must take my old gas tank.

Things always get more interesting when pipes/extensions come into play, good job!
