Stop in for a cup of coffee

Sounds good Chris and looking forward in seeing it and you.
I was just speaking with my brother. He got his 69 back from paint. Guy was pretty quick, actually but my brother had to do all the teardown and bodywork ahead of time. Shoot and skoot.

It took the car back to the original white. I'd like to some day get mine back to where it should be. It has the bright white that I don't particularly like.

From the pictures your car looks nice in the white that's on it.
Not sure what your brother paid to have his painted but the price sure went through the roof on complete paint jobs.

It was pretty silly. But where he lives is expensive.

I like the cream color that WW1 gives. The stark white-white is a bit much. Some days I like that they removed all the badging and trim, other days I wish it was still there. They don't do that any longer, so all that chrome is kinda cool.

Good Afternoon All! Just a quick check in before heading off to wedding rehearsal. Son has picked up wifes Dad and SMOM at SeaTac, we'll see them in a couple of hours.

@RAT ROD AL

I don't have the "pick" gene. Could you get a $1000 out of this?

I took all the badging off mine but I saved it all just because it is kind of cool.

I have all the "stuff" for the car except the long runs of trim.

I even have a set of the funky 63 louvers that they strapped on the Canadian cars for whatever reason

Solid state voltage regulator on.. issue fixed....

Rigged some trim clips for my fender spear so it's on again.. Nothing lines up on this car and i suck :)

Glad that solved the issue. Scott had a win today in that department as well

Bruh... 60+ year old vehicle. I wouldn't have **** that lines up on me either....

Nothing lines up on mine.. decklid even.. and i can't get them to line up.. makes me nuts.. i'm just leaning into it now :)

They never lined up from the factory.
Fender looks a bit high but I can't see the over all look so just my 2 cents.

Well.. when i bought the car it came with rust free arizona fenders.. that of course i didn't prefit.. i painted them and then WTF... it seems they shipped on a pallet that someone put a much heavier pallet on top of :(

Drivers fender was banana'd in both directions... i beat the piss out of it to get it to fit... it's not too bad.. the passenger though was like 1.25" high at the top bodyline... i couldn't think of anyway to fix that.. so i jumped up and landed my fat *** on it and it dropped down just bout right.. and left a small dent.

what sucks is.. i trashed my original fenders bout 3 weeks before i tried putting these on.. if i had kept them i would have cut these up to patch the originals.

No big thing... wish i loved this car.. it' just makes me mad soo far
