Just Made it to the hotel. I left the house 2 hours early. Good thing. I got an hour north and the Polara started surging. Not a ignition miss but a carb issue. I turned around and drove back home to get the Swinger. Back on the road bucking the wind all the way. Oh, the Swinger has a nasty brake pull to the right.

K... another day done.... got the motor cleaned up and ready to go back together.. ordering a new balancer if the place has it in stock.. will wait on that. Also... buying a scope is the best thing i ever did... thing is soo handy. Had backed out my rockers and pushrods came out of the cups, couldn't get them back in by feel.. glad i had it or i would have had some issues...
