Stop in for a cup of coffee

If I head up to the Bakers I'll also try to snap a pic of another semi-vintage car this guy has out near hwy. So far I've posted the purple Dodge D-100, nose to nose Caddy's. First time past this ride I thought it might have been a Mopar but on way back down looked more like Buick/Olds. It too is purple or lavender, what ev's

Humid out there

That was a we are boored thing. Had a caddy junk but good motor trans and a gremlin that was a pos. A few beers, coathanger welding rods and done in a few hours. Lasted two days!   Have to find pics of it. Joey flipped it twice doing burnouts! Wheelie and over. Fun stuff then!

Wanted to buy a new 76 purple 4sp Gremlin but couldn’t muster the funds. Would have been my first car. So that’s why I’m stuck with my 66 Barracuda

Jackson's "Foot Calvary" could make 30 miles a day. Average for Infantry was 15 to 20.

And it wasn't a "do it once" and put a sticker on your back window.

I've done 14 miles in full period kit. It'll make you notice.
Pure crazy, I have toyed over and over about doing the reenactment thing. Knowing my persona I would go all in. I have decided if I was to do that I would put up a blacksmith tent.

USPS routing is crazy. I may never get this package.

Bozeman to Billings Montana then to Sioux Falls SD then to Omaha. Then to Fargo ND and on to Waite Park MN and now to St. Paul.
May be it will get to Iowa soon. :BangHead: :BangHead:

I have blankets that I paid $400 for....

That overcoat was $500

The 1812 Coattee was $750
And it goes on and on. Throw in a horse and you have yet another black hole. I love going to the battles and watching but then I imagine the sweat rolling down my legs sticking to the wool pants. Total reality check but man it sure makes you appreciate our kit today. Then I think two hundred years from now they will look back at our methods and equipment and shake their heads thinking holy smokes these guys were warriors. I can just sit here with my Z blaster and transmogrified them! War is fluid.
